about us

how five chapters,made fuzzy.

a very small story about a very stubborn idea, a kitchen-floor moment, and the queue of seven little bags that turned into a soft little universe.

the beginning

once upon a very
ordinary tuesday

every fuzzy thing you'll see started in one girl's bedroom, at 2 a.m., with a tuft of yarn and a very stubborn idea. here are five little chapters of how it happened.

once upon a winter,
in a tiny bedroom

it was a sleepy december. we were wrapping a gift for a best friend and nothing we could find felt soft enough.
so we pulled out a length of fluffy yarn, a needle, a scrap of canvas — and stitched the very first little bag, on the bedroom floor.

→ 2 a.m., on the bedroom floor, december 2023.

the very first one.
the original seven.

a bag
that wouldn't stop

her friend cried (happy crying). then her friend's sister wanted one. then a sister-in-law. then a sister-in-law's coworker.
within a week, we had a queue of seven little bags and a tiny notebook full of “can you embroider a strawberry on mine?”

the dm
from a stranger

one night the phone lit up at 11:47 pm. someone we'd never met had typed:
i saw your friend's bag on the metro and i actually cried at the bus stop. can you make me one for my mom?
that was the very first stranger order. we still have the screenshot. it lives in a folder called “reasons.”
hi! i don't think you know me but…i saw a bag you made & cried 🥹can you make one for my mom please?11:47 pmof course i can 💕 tell me about her.

and then,
a little world

the bag was a beginning, not an end. customers wanted the keychain to match. then a mirror with her initials. then a mug rug for the desk. then the cushion her aunt swore she needed three of.
fuzzy quietly turned into a whole soft universe — but every piece still gets cut, stitched, and fluffed by the same two hands.

and now,
you're here

every bag still ships with a handwritten note. every bag has a tiny secret detail nobody but the owner sees. every piece is made for one person, and only that person.
if your name is on it, it lived on our desk for a little while. we hope it feels like a hug.

still on the same desk.
meet the maker

a one-person
kind of fluff.

fuzzy is a one-person studio. we are the founder, designer, sewer, embroiderer, photographer, dm-replier and packing-tape-tearer. we also doodle in meetings, drink too many cappuccinos, and have stayed up until 4 a.m. finishing a bridal order more times than we'd like to admit.

we believe small handmade things carry the energy of whoever made them — which is why every piece leaves our hands with a tiny wish for whoever it's going to.

how we make
i.

slowly, by hand

no factories, no shortcuts. every stitch is ours, which means small batches and the occasional happy imperfection.

ii.

one of one

we never make the same piece twice. yours has a name, a colour combo, a tiny secret detail — and it's the only one of its kind.

iii.

kind materials

responsibly-sourced yarn, hypo-allergenic fill, recycled packaging. we'd rather make less, beautifully, than more, badly.

iv.

a little love note

every parcel ships with a handwritten note. nothing fancy — just a few words to whoever the bag is for. always.

your turn

so, what's
the soft little something
you're dreaming of?
